This series of images was sent in to C141Heaven by Al Goodwin. He was one of the crew chiefs assigned to 163 while based at McChord AFB in Tacoma Washington back in the late 1960's. The images are copies of old slides he had taken, often with horrible lighting conditions, and stored for years. Dates and locations are included where known.

From time to time the Crew Chiefs made a few flights with the regular aircrew.
Al snapped these shots in the Tacoma area around McChord.

In April 1968 at Buckley field to support MAC airlift requirements for
the deployment of the only air national guard wing to South Vietnam.
They flew F100's and were from New Mexico.
In the 3rd photo Al makes sure that his tool box stays secure.

This next set of images was taken on the 5/5/2000, the day that 163 was flown from Charleston to the Boneyard. I am sorry to say I don't have a record of who submitted these photos to me, but as soon as I figure it out I will provide credit to the photographer. As shown below these may not be in the order taken.
