I was an Airman 3rd class at the time and was standing in a military formation
for the official arrival ceremony of the aircraft. It did not mean much to me
37 years ago, but today it means the world to me.
Like so many others the Air Force and the C-141 gave the start in life for a
career in aviation. I worked this airframe for 36 years, retiring Jan 03 2004.
